Six and more

Miss Izzy reached the seemingly unattainable milestone of 6 last week. The 'how many days til I'm 6??!??!' mantra has now ended. We started with some early morning presents.

And the next day we ballooned up and had a few friends around for a party which was great. The cake-decorating skills are pretty well still at the same level, though this year there were flowers to add to the cake decorations! I hasten to add the flowers were not made by me. Obviously. I only take responsibility for the standard chocolate cake and raspberry icing scenario.

The next day the kids were lucky enough to meet Santa at Alex's work family Christmas party.

Fortunately the letters to Santa had been duly written and posted a few days before. I'm hoping Izzy maintains her modest requests for years to come.

Finn was a little more specific, requesting an Xbox. Hmmm. Not sure if Santa has those in stock this year. And he did a great pic. The Christmas countdown is on ....
